PageRank Rollback: Twitter is back to PR9 & Google is now PR10

Yep, another PR update occurred a few days ago. Majority of the domains that gained PR, rolled back to their original PR. Some maintained their PageRank, and some gained a +1 PageRank after the last PR update. A few sites gained PageRank twice, but those are new sites from PR0 who gained PR2 last June 27, and promoted to PR3 last July 18.

  • Another Major Google PageRank Update: July 18, 2011

I just noticed that another major Google PR update has occurred yesterday, July 18, 2011. I noticed a lot of sites returned to their original PageRanks after the June 27, 2011 major PR update. Some sites that gained +1 PR, rolled back to their original PageRank, such as PlurkThemes.com (PR7 to PR6), Ajalapus.com (PR6 to PR5), SachaChua.com (PR6 to PR5), Jehzlau-Concepts.com (PR6 to PR5), and other notable Filipino blogs.

  • WordPress Fatal Error in wp-db.php on line 774

WordPress Fatal Error in wp-db.php on line 774

Wow, I just noticed that my blog is now full of WordPress fatal errors and how to fix it. I admit, I’m a certified WordPress junkie. Haha! This is my 78th blog post and my 12th WordPress error post. So… I’ll tag this one as WordPress and… I think just WordPress.

This error is clasified as 500 Internal Server Error. This simply means that the server is the main cause that’s why this error occurred. If you’re familiar with the Fatal error Allowed memory size of [RANDOM NUMBERS HERE] bytes exhausted (tried to allocate [ANOTHER RANDOM NUMBERS HERE] bytes) in /home/user/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 774, then you’ll have an idea that the main cause of this error is your server’s memory allocation to the specific user.

Cannot redeclare pclziputilpathreduction() upgrade error and how to fix it!

I have a blog that wasn’t update for a very long time. Its last post was March 25, 2009. I’m still using WordPress 2.7 in that blog. After attempting to upgrade it to WordPress 3.2, I encountered the error: Cannot redeclare pclziputilpathreduction().

Now I wonder why I cannot update it. I tried figuring it by disabling my current WordPress plugins one by one, until I disabled WPAU. WPAU is the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin which is completely useless in the newer version of WordPress. Why? Because the WordPress core itself has an automatic upgrade feature and you don’t need to use this plugin to upgrade your blog to the latest WP version.

Google wipes out all .CO.CC domains, including www.co.cc itself

Too bad for .CO.CC owners, specially those who are using it as their main domain. Google recently wiped out all .CO.CC domains from its search index. Why? Because users of .CO.CC abused it. A lot of .CO.CC blogs and websites contain nothing but 100% spam, re-posted content, aggregated articles, and nothing but a bunch of gibberish data.

  • Transferring Funds from Paypal to Moneybookers and vice-versa

Transferring Funds from Paypal to Moneybookers and vice-versa

Transferring your funds from Paypal to Moneybookers is possible if you have a third party fund exchanger. If you don’t know anyone who accepts Paypal funds in exchange for Moneybookers.com funds, then there’s no way for you to transfer your funds. There are several entities online that accepts Paypal funds for MB funds, but you can’t easily find them.

While googling about Paypal to Moneybookers exchangers, I found a lot of forum threads and people offering such service. I tried e-mailing them, but until now, nobody replied to my e-mail. I think transferring funds from Paypal to Moneybookers and vice-versa is not a profitable business, that’s why I can’t find a website that currently accept online currency exchanges. Hopefully sooner or later, there will be an online service that will automatically convert my Paypal funds to Moneybookers and other online cash.
