Just today, after visiting my favorite Torrent site Kickass via kat.cr and kickass.to, Chrome showed me a warning that the site contains harmful programs. I doubt that it contains any harmful programs and I understand the risk, so I went ahead and clicked “Details” then continued browsing the site. After I’m redirect to the Kickass Torrents site, nothing is really harmful inside, and no unwanted software was installed or pop up popped in my screen. Rest assured that Kickass is still safe to browse, to be scared that much.
If you’ve read that the site ahead contains harmful programs. Attackers on kat.cr might attempt to trick you into installing programs that harm your browsing experience (for example, by changing your homepage or showing extra ads on sites you visit), after visiting Kickass Torrents, don’t be afraid, just continue browsing the website!
