  • Magento Product Page URL parameters removed mysteriously

Magento Product Page URL parameters removed mysteriously

If you encountered a weird bug where-in you’re attempting to add utm_source parameters or any URL params after a question mark, then you’re not alone. This happened to me in one of my client’s Magento sites. On the homepage and category pages, I can easily add URL parameters. But in the product page / product view page / single product page, the parameters disappear after the page loads completely. I thought it’s just some sort of javascript bug or a redirect setting in the .htaccess, but it’s not the reason.

Maybe this also happens in WordPress with WooCommerce or other platforms that uses an SEO plugin with Canonical redirect.

Here’s a picture of the JCPAL VerSkin Macos Shortcut Keyboard Cover Black Version (Limited Edition) for MacBook Pro with Touchbar, because I couldn’t find anything uploaded online, so I uploaded mine. I can only find the gray version of this cover online. I got this in Frisbee store, Myeongdong, Seoul, South Korea and I think it’s exclusively available there. What’s available online is the gray one, and the application specific keyboard covers for Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and other prominent software with lots of keyboard shortcuts.

  • Bitcoin Vs. Gold

    Bitcoin Vs. Gold

Maybe the clearest difference between Bitcoin and Gold is this: Bitcoin is digital, whereas Gold is a tangle physical asset. However, the distinctions between these two assets are much deeper. These days, Bitcoin is accepted as a form of payment by APMEX.

  • All screen phone bezel-less with no front camera 2018

All screen phone bezel-less with no front camera 2018

This is what I’ve been trying to find this year. A full screen phone, no front camera and bezel-less. I really don’t like selfies and I don’t do video chat, so a full screen phone bezel-less phone with NO front camera is what I need. But after googling and binging for countless of hours, I still cannot find a phone with no front camera. All modern phones now have a front camera. If you’re looking for a phone with “NO FRONT CAMERA” then you’ll end up with an old Nokia monochrome phone, or something else that’s not a touchscreen phone.

So why manufacturers are not making phones with no front cameras? I don’t know why, but I hope they will, soon.

  • Where to find your Bitfinex referral code in your account dashboard?

My post title above is what I’ve been googling and binging for hours now but I still cannot find what I am looking for. My friends are asking for a referral code in order to create a new Bitfinex account.

So I quickly logged in to my Bitfinex account to get my referral code, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I even searched the entire FAQs page of Bitfinex but to no avail.

There are also several posts in Reddit, posting their referral codes, but I couldn’t find mine.

Finally I decided to e-mail Bitfinex support and they replied withib 24 hours saying that the referral program was discontinued and they are working on a new system to limit the number of new users using an invite code.

This is somehow similar to Replika.ai where you can only create an account via invitation and once you signed up using the invitation code you can invite 5 more users in return. With this method, they can limit a huge number of bogus users.

I don’t know what the invite limit of Bitfinex but we’ll find out pretty soon once the new invitation system is live.

  • Beware of the Quanta Wallet Scam

Beware of the Quanta Wallet Scam

If you’re looking for a Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet and somebody referred Quanta Wallet to you, please stay away from it. You can deposit your ethers, but you cannot withdraw it. So beware of using unknown wallets because somebody referred it to you. This scam wallet is available on iOS and Android. You cannot export your keys when you use this wallet. You cannot reset your password if you’ve forgotten it. And once your cryptocurrencies are deposited in the Quanta Wallet, just say goodbye to it, because you’ll never get it back.

This wallet is developed by QuantaPLC. An unknown software developer. They also have a github page with a readme file. Haha!
    https://github.com/quantaplc/qnt

There are too many scam cryptocurrency wallets nowadays, so be very careful when choosing your wallet. If you want a wallet where you don’t control your own keys, always trust the big names such as Coinbase, Cex.io, and Bitfinex. If you want to control your own keys, but it’s too complicated for you to manually generate your key, or you’re to lazy to download the official Ethereum wallet at https://ethereum.org/, then use MyEtherWallet.com. At least, you have full control of your own keys and you can use it in any wallet you want.

Always be careful, always stay safe.
